What affects the price
The cost depends on the type and size of boiler, whether it stays in the same place, how much pipework needs changing and which controls you choose. Moving a boiler or converting from a regular system to a combi takes more work than a like-for-like swap. Once we have seen the job, you receive one fixed, written price, so you know the full cost before anything starts.

How long does a new boiler installation take?
A like-for-like boiler swap is often done in a day. Moving the boiler, changing the system type or replacing pipework can take longer. We give you a clear timescale with your quote, so you know when you will be without heating and hot water.
Do I need a combi or a system boiler?
It depends on your home and how many people use hot water at once. Combi boilers suit many flats and smaller homes because they heat water on demand. Larger homes with several bathrooms often need a system or regular boiler with a hot water cylinder. We recommend the right one after seeing your home.
Can you move my boiler to a different room?
Yes, in most homes the boiler can be moved, for example from a kitchen into a cupboard or loft. It needs a suitable flue route and new pipework, which we check during the visit and include in the quote.
Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. MST Plumbing & Heating is on the Gas Safe Register, registration number 632854, and every boiler installation is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers.
